At Kuyucak Textile, we reflect our responsibility to nature and the future in every yarn through recycling.
By bringing textile waste back to life, we add value for a sustainable world.
Raw Material Entry and Fiber Opening Textile production waste collected from garment manufacturers is reused in the recycling process. These collected wastes are integrated into the production process, leading to the creation of new products.
Sorting and Cutter & Shifonoz Textile waste is carefully sorted by color and composition. In this process, the waste is converted to fiber with minimal loss. The waste, cut into small pieces by a guillotine, is more efficiently transformed into fiber, reducing resource usage.
Blending, Carding, Drawing, and Open End Spinning Fibers are blended by color and carded to become homogeneous. After going through the drawing process, the fibers are spun into recycled yarn using the open end rotor spinning method. This process transforms textile waste into new, usable yarns.
We have produced 100,000 tons of recycled yarn in 30 years. Our contribution to the environment includes 490,000 kg CO2 reduction, 192,040,000 liters of water savings, 520,000 m² land use savings and 490,000 kg terrestrial ecotoxicity reduction.
